INVITATION TO BID

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids by which

the Town of Plymouth will contract for the

 

Terryville Fire Department – Plymouth Fire Company Expansion & Renovation

 will be received in the Mayor’s Office until

12:00 pm, Tuesday, July 18, 2017

 

as determined by the Mayor’s Office clock.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 6:00 pm at the Fire House.

 

A mandatory pre-bid meeting between prospective bidders and the Architect

 will convene at this site, 691 Main Street, Plymouth

June 27, 2017 at 9:00 am when

 project details will be discussed and questions answered.

All prospective bidders must attend.

 

A bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the base bid cost is required and must accompany each proposal.

Bids must be held firm for ninety (90) days beyond the bid opening date.

 

The successful bidder must file a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond,

a one hundred percent (100%) Labor & Materials Bond and a Certificate of Insurance

with the Town within five (5) days of notice of bid award.

 

Attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of minimum wages and compliance with certain local, state and federal requirements.

 

Plans and specifications can be obtained directly from The Color Company, 85 Willow, New Haven (Tel 203-624-0440) at a cost to the Contractor or are available on the Town’s website, www.plymouthct.us/bids-rfps-rfqs at no cost.

Each bidder is responsible for checking the website to determine if any addenda have been issued.

 

The Town of Plymouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, omissions, excess verbiage or technical defects in the bidding and the Town of Plymouth need not necessarily award the contract to the lowest Bidder if, in the opinion of the Town of Plymouth, it would be in the best interest of the Town of Plymouth to accept another bid.

The Plymouth Housing Authority (PHA) is soliciting Request for Proposal (RFP) to allow for a competitive selection process to be used to evaluate and select a Development Consulting Firm to assist in the feasibly analysis, development team selection and submission of financing applications for the Gosinski Park development located in Plymouth, Connecticut.

INVITATION TO BID

INSTALLATION AND REBUILDING OF DRAINAGE SYSTEMS

The Town of Plymouth will accept sealed bids for the installation and rebuilding of drainage systems at various sites in the Town of Plymouth, CT.

Bids are to be submitted to the Town of Plymouth Comptroller’s Office, 80 Main St., Terryville, CT  06786 in a sealed envelope and marked “BID ON DRAINAGE SYSTEMS (INSTALLATION AND REBUILDING)” until July 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid specifications are available at the Town of Plymouth Public Works Dept., Monday through Friday between 9:00 and 4:00 p.m. or by calling 860 585-4030.  Any questions regarding this proposal are to be submitted in writing by June 30, 2015 by 4:00 p.m. and directed to Charles Wiegert, Interim Director of Public Works, 80 Main St., Terryville, CT.

The Town reserves the right to waive technical defects in the bids; and to reject any bid which does not conform to the terms and conditions described in the bid documents, to accept or reject any part of any bid; or to reject any or all bids if it deems it in the best interest of the town.
