About the library

The Terryville Public Library serves as the principal public library for the Town of Plymouth, providing free and equal access to a variety of materials and programs. The Library plays an active role in the community as a popular materials library, a preschoolers' door to learning, a formal education support center and a community reference source.

Friends of Terryville Public Library

The Friends of Terryville Public Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization supporting the needs of the Terryville Public Library. They meet once a month on the third Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m. For additional information, call the Library Director at the Terryville Public Library, 860-582-3121. 

Check out the Friends of the Library 'Booktique' Book Sale at 244 Main Street, Terryville (next to the Terryville Public Library). It is held on the third Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Parking is located off of Prospect Street.)
