Connecticut Alert Emergency Notification System
The Plymouth Police Department has implemented the Connecticut Alert Emergency Notification System (CT Alert ENS), an emergency incident notification system. The notification system provides a town wide 911 and "Opt-In" program for our citizens. This system enhances the Police Department's ability to protect lives and property by providing critical information to citizens during potential life threatening emergencies such as severe weather, fires, floods, unexpected road closures or evacuation of buildings or neighborhoods.
Please visit the CT Alert Citizen Sign-up website to register your wireless telephone numbers, text message numbers, TDD/TTY and email addresses in order to receive alerts on those devices. The website will also allow the public to designate other locations that they may wish to receive alerts about, such as; where your children go to school, where you work, or where family members live.
