NOTICE OF ANNUAL BUDGET REFERENDUM

Town of Plymouth

Pursuant to chapter VII, Section 3b of the Plymouth Town Charter, the annual budget referendum of electors and qualified taxpayers of the Town of Plymouth will be held on the 29^th of April 2014, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. to vote on the Town Budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2014 thru June 30, 2015, as recommended by the Board of Finance.  The recommended Budget is on file at the office  of the Town Clerk, Plymouth Town Hall, 80 Main Street, Terryville, and available for public inspection during regular business hours.

The recommended Town Budget will be placed on the ballot under the following heading:

“SHALL THE TOWN OF PLYMOUTH ADOPT THE ANNUAL GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2014 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2015, IN THE AMOUNT OF $39,034,620, AS RECOMMENDED BY THE BOARD OF FINANCE?”

Voters approving the recommended budget will vote “YES” and those opposing the budget will vote “NO”.

Electors and qualified tax payers shall vote in the Community Room at the Plymouth Town Hall, 80 Main Street, Terryville.  Absentee Ballots will be available from the Office of the Town Clerk on April 24^th through April 28th.  Absentee Ballots will be counted at the following location:  Plymouth Town Hall.
