The Harvest Ball - Plymouth Community Food Pantry's biggest fundraiser of the year. Have fun and support a good cause at the same time.
The Plymouth Community Food Pantry is working to end hunger in our community. The food pantry is hosting our annual Harvest Ball on at the beautiful Fairview Farms in Harwinton. This event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the pantry and we need your help to make it a success.
Last year alone, the pantry gave away 122,000 pounds of food to over 600 people. Individuals who never thought they would need this service turned to the Plymouth Community Food Pantry for help. Together we can make a huge impact to help those who are struggling to provide healthy food for their families; the working poor, veterans and elderly in our community. For every $100 raised we can purchase 500 pounds of food for the Pantry through the CT Food Bank.
3 Ways you can help:
1. Save the Date and enjoy the event in person. Tickets are $65 each. You can even get a table with family and friends so you can all enjoy this wonderful event together.
2. An important component of our event is a silent auction. Consider donating an item or gift certificate to help make it a success. Your name/business name and donation will be listed in our program booklet and will be advertised on our auction tables; but best of all it will help us to raise funds to purchase food for those in need.
3. Take advantage of this opportunity to promote your business and donate to a good cause at the same time by purchasing an advertisement in the Harvest Ball program booklet. As an Event Sponsor, your advertisement will be seen by over 100 people. As an added bonus, all proceeds will go to the food pantry to help end hunger right here in our community.
We know you are often asked to support many worthwhile projects. Helping the Plymouth Community Food Pantry is a way to improve the health and quality of life for our neighbors. Please contact our director, Erin Kennedy at 860-584-1750 or foodpantry@plymouthfoodpantry.
