Terryville Tree Tour

The Plymouth Land Trust will lead a walking tour of Terryville's “downtown arboretum” on Saturday, June 6.  Meet at 10 am in front of the Eli Terry, Jr., Middle School.

Over 40 species of trees will be identified, including such rarities as a Japanese Umbrella Pine, a cucumber tree, a Kentucky coffeetree, the biggest Concolor fir in Connecticut, and the second largest Norway spruce in the state.  In addition to trees, the tour also features historical sites in Terryville.
All participants will receive a copy of the publication, 'Terryville Tree Tour-A Walking Guide to Baldwin Park and Hillside Cemetery'. The tour will last about two hours and is free.
