Plymouth Pumpkinfest

Location: Plymouth Green, 10 Park St., Plymouth

The 6th Annual Plymouth Pumpkinfest will be held Sat. Oct 24 from 5-6pm on the Plymouth Green, on the corner of Main St and North St.
Admission is free, but all are encouraged to bring carved pumpkins at 5pm to be displayed on the steps of the Plymouth Congregational Church. Prizes will be awarded by age group. The jack-o’-lanterns will be lit at 5:45 for a “gourd”geous sight.
This year’s events include a kids and adults costume parade (led by a bagpiper!), face painting, antique tractors, kids games, arts activities, potato sack races, and music provided by Down Home Frolic.
The Plymouth Congregational Church will have a church supper and the Plymouth Baptist Church is providing cider. There will be a lantern tour of the Burying Ground at 6:30pm. Bring flashlights.
Free space is available for artisans to sell their work. For more information, call 860-921-6118. This year’s Pumpkinfest is cosponsored by the Beautification Committee and the Parks and Recreation Department.
