Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Location: Plymouth Green, 10 Park St., Plymouth

Discover how the symbolism and inscriptions on the ancient gravestones in the Plymouth Burying Ground provide clues to life in 1700s Connecticut. The gravestones provide a hidden timeline of America's colonial history. After we visit the cemetery, we will go across the street to a house that was a stop on the Underground Railroad. We will see the tunnel used by slaves to escape to freedom. Families welcome. Free refreshments after the tour at Antiques at the Green.
