Lantern Tour of the Plymouth Burying Ground

On Oct. 29 the Plymouth Historical Society is leading a lantern tour of the Plymouth Burying Ground, where 38 soldiers from the Revolutionary War are buried. Visitors will wend their way through the Plymouth Burying Ground and discover how the symbols and inscriptions on the gravestones provide clues to life in colonial
Connecticut. The walk includes a house that was on the Underground Railroad. Visitors will see the secret passageway that allowed slaves to escape to freedom.
Bring flashlights.
