Lantern Tour of the Plymouth Burying Ground

On Oct. 21 and 28, the Plymouth Historical Society will lead a lantern tour of the Plymouth
Burying Ground. Discover how the symbols and inscriptions on the gravestones provide clues to
life in colonial Connecticut. The walk includes a safe house on the Underground Railroad,
with a visit to a secret passageway used by slaves escaping to freedom. Bring flashlights. There
will be complimentary refreshments at “Antiques at the Green” after the tour. Meet at 7pm in
