|Date:||October 13, 2018|
|Time:||10:00 AM - 11:00 AM|
Location: Carter Road, Plymouth
West Cemetery dates to the early 1800s. It includes the graves of Civil War soldiers, Joel Blakeslee, a conductor on the Underground Railroad, Silas Hoadley, a well-known clockmaker who took over Eli Terry’s business, and many of the early families in town. Many fascinating stories will be told. Suggested donation is $10 for adults. Kids and Historical Society members are free, so why not join the Society? All funds raised are used to restore the cemetery. Preregistration is not necessary. Drive into the cemetery all the way to the end and follow the loop road back toward the middle. Rain cancels.
