Lantern Tour of the Plymouth Burying Ground and the Underground Railroad

The Plymouth Historical Society will lead a lantern tour of the Plymouth Burying Ground. Discover how the symbols and inscriptions on the gravestones provide clues to life in colonial Connecticut. The walk includes a safe house on the Underground Railroad, with a visit to a secret passageway used by slaves escaping to freedom. Bring flashlights. There will be complimentary refreshments at “Antiques at the Green” after the tour. Meet at 7pm in front of the Congregational Church, 10 Park St., Plymouth. Reservations are required by calling
