Carol Sing and Tree Lighting

The Plymouth Beautification Committee and the Terryville Lions Club will host the annual tree
lighting and carol sing on December 1 at 5pm at Baldwin Park in Terryville. Students from Fisher
Elementary School and members of the Terryville Congregational Church will lead residents in songs of the season, followed by free hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows. The Lions Club’s Santa Claus and reindeer display will be lit also.
Children are encouraged to make weather resistant ornaments to hang on the tree.
In addition, the Beautification Committee is looking for volunteers to help put up festive red
bows on the streetlamps on Main Street on November 25th, starting at 3pm in front of the Eagle’s Nest restaurant.
Baldwin Park is on Main Street in Terryville, across from Eli Terry, Jr. Middle School. Residents
are asked to bring non-perishable food for the Community Food Pantry. The rain date is Dec. 2.
