Night at the Museum

The first ever “Night at the Museum” will be held at the Lock Museum of America on Saturday, July 30 at 6:30PM. There will be tours of the Museum collections, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and refreshments.
Guided walks of historic sites in downtown Terryville will leave the Museum at 6:30PM and 7PM.
The Lock Museum of America is in Terryville because it is on the site of the first Eagle Lock Company headquarters. The Eli Terry, Jr. Water Wheel powered the original lock factory. There are fascinating displays of Eagle Lock memorabilia as well as other lock companies that were based in Connecticut.
