The Plymouth Memorial Day Parade will have a new starting point this year at Plymouth Center School. The parade kicks off on Sunday, May 29, at 11:30am and marches down North Street to the Plymouth Green. This year’s theme will be the War of 1812. Also, the 5th graders of Plymouth Center School will recite the Gettysburg Address and there will be music by the school bands. All are invited for free hot dogs provided by the Fire Department. After the ceremony on the Green, there will be a guided tour of the Burying Ground. Meet at 12:30 in front of the cemetery. Also, from 12:30-1:30, the Henry Terry house at 14 North Street, directly across from the Green, will be open to the public to see the tunnel used by slaves in the Underground Railroad. Parking is available at Plymouth Center School and at the Green.
