Jerry Milne will speak about the Leatherman, the vagabond who walked a monthly 300-mile circuit around western Connecticut for many years in the late 1800s. A replica of the Leatherman's outfit will be on display and can be tried on to appreciate its craftsmanship and weight!
After the talk, the Leatherman will lead a walk down Main Street to the Water Wheel, which powered the Eagle Lock Factory in the 1800s.
