The Plymouth Volunteer Ambulance Corps was established in 1968. The department provides around the clock
emergency medical services to people who live, work, and visit the Town of Plymouth. There are about 30 volunteer EMT's (Emergency Medical Technicians) and EMR's (Emergency Medical Responders). The PVAC Bike Team provides EMS services for events and parades to increase response time in crowded environments.

Anyone wishing to join the Corps or get information about up-coming MRT or EMT classes can call the Corps; visit our web site, or stop in at the regular monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. Membership benefits include: training and meal reimbursements, deferred compensation, local tax abatement program, uniforms, equipment, and incentives. Volunteers needed.
