FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Are you finding it hard to pay your home heating bills? The Rotary Club Fuel Fund may be able to help. Started in 2016, the Fuel Fund has helped many residents and families in Plymouth cover their fuel bills when other assistance is exhausted. The Fund can pay for oil, gas, and electric heat, as well as alternative fuels such as wood, coal and bio-fuels. The Rotary Club of Terryville is urging residents that may need fuel assistance to reach out to the Human Services Department at 860-585-4028, Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm. At this time, walk-ins are discouraged, so please call to make an appointment. Residents are verified through the Human Services Department who coordinates the fuel purchase and the Fuel Fund pays the invoice. The account name is redacted on the invoice, making the process easy, anonymous, and fast. Donations to the Fuel Fund can be made year-round. Donations can be mailed to: Rotary Club of Terryville Fuel Fund, P.O. Box 422, Terryville, CT 06786."

The Town of Plymouth Human Services Department instituted a program called "Small Wonders" for the Town of Plymouth children. Any donation made for our children will go into the Small Wonders Annual trust fund. The trust fund will be used for helping children with their first day of school, Holiday gifts, and other special services as outlined in the trust fund procedure. The goals of the program are to achieve an effective efficient and systematic delivery of resources, and to propose responsive and reasonable means whereby the needs of children are met.
